Strawberry Chocolate Hearts

Do you ever food-google? I do it a lot, and sometimes I come across really nifty ideas. Like this one: a five-minute crowd pleaser... strawberry dipped in chocolate set in ice cube trays! Brilliant! I have a heart shaped one and used that.. look how pretty they turned out :)

Strawberry Chocolate Hearts

Ingredients (makes 16)

120 grams dark chocolate (70-80% cacao)
120 grams milk chocolate
16 strawberries
1 silicon ice cube tray (mine was a 16-hole one)
* if you use a smaller ice cube tray, use a little less chocolate

Instructions:
1. break the dark chocolate in pieces and put it in a medium-sized bowl. Bring a small pan of water to the boil, then turn the heat off and put the bowl of chocolate on top. Stir until 90% melted, then take off the heat and stir until the last 10% is melted too.

2. Do the same for the milk chocolate, in a different bowl.

3. Fill half the ice cube holes with milk chocolate, and half with dark chocolate.* Don't fill them completely till the top - leave a small space because you will be dipping the strawberries in, if they are too full the chocolate will spill over the top and make a mess.
* You can also stir the milk and dark chocolate together, just barely, and make a swirled mix.

4. Stick one strawberry into each space.

5. Place in the fridge for an hour, or until ready to eat. Remove by pushing the chocolate out of the silicon ice cube slots from the bottom.
